At the end of the summer, the winners of each Detours Cyphers battle come together for a final showdown: the Grand Final. A real highlight of the Detours Festival, this event brings together the best dancers of the season from Belgium and abroad.

The finalists set the stage alight at the Théâtre National Wallonie Bruxelles during an exceptional evening where cultures meet, styles blend and dance becomes a common language, carried by the energy of the audience and the passion of the artists.

Before the final, the Urban Dance Caravan kicks off the festivities with an artistic procession through the city center, led by dancers, performers, and musicians from around the world. This urban parade invites the public to follow the movement to the National Theater to celebrate the festival’s grand closing night together.

The 16th edition of the Detours Festival marked a turning point in the festival’s history, with record attendance and exceptional energy throughout the summer.

Despite unpredictable weather, the artists managed to turn the unexpected into unforgettable moments: the Urban Dance Caravan enlivened the pedestrian zone in Brussels before converging on the National Theater, where the Grand Finale was a sell-out.

This closing night confirmed the Detours Festival as a pillar of urban dance, a place of encounter and expression where creativity, diversity, and sharing are at the heart of every movement.

In an electric atmosphere, SILK dancer from the United Kingdom prevailed over the best dancers from Europe, Africa, and South America!
