The Détours festival is also organizing a selection in Cameroon during the month of December. The program includes Faraja Batumike’s show “La Cage” and workshops entitled “Danse ton histoire” (Dance Your Story), led by Milan Emmanuel. This initiative also includes a selection for Working Progress and a selection for Battle All Style. All of this takes place as part of the Last Popper festival, directed by Junior.

This collaboration aims to enrich the local arts scene and offer new opportunities to emerging talent.

Created in 2019, The Last Popper, offers a high-quality platform for dancers from Cameroon and surrounding areas, allowing them to attend training workshops, express themselves freely in showcases featuring their creations, and participate in the 1 vs 1 Battle stage, which selects an honored and rewarded champion at each edition.
